Who We Are

A telehealth service built to make HIV prevention simple for everyone

Healthvana provides free or low-cost PrEP, DoxyPEP, and STI care online for people across the country. Our platform removes common barriers so more people can get the care they need, including folks without insurance, people assigned female at birth, and those in rural areas. Our mission is to end HIV by making prevention easy to start and easy to stay on.
Benefits

Everyone deserves access to prevention

HIV is still one of the most expensive and preventable chronic conditions in the country. It is expected to cost the United States one trillion dollars over the next decade. Many people still face stigma, judgment, or simple lack of access when they try to protect their health.

That is why we created our one-to-one model.

When someone with insurance gets PrEP through Healthvana, their visit helps us cover the cost of PrEP and STI testing for someone who is uninsured. It is our way of reaching people who have been left out of traditional healthcare.  Starting only takes minutes. Most people pay nothing. Everyone gets support.
How It Started

A simple idea: Make healthcare easier

Healthvana began with a focus on helping people access their own health information. Over time, that work expanded into something much larger.
We started by building patient-friendly technology that delivered clear test results and next steps. What began in a handful of clinics grew into a national platform trusted by hundreds of thousands of people. Along the way, we supported public health systems, modernized digital communication, and helped millions access care faster. Today, our focus is HIV prevention. We provide PrEP, DoxyPEP, and STI care online. Every new insured patient helps us reach someone who would not get care otherwise.
Our Partners

Working with trusted leaders in healthcare and research institutions

Our partnerships help us build better care and reach more people. That includes work with Stanford University on AI-supported PrEP initiation and persistence. It includes collaborations with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and participation in nationwide HIV prevention efforts through the White House Ending the HIV Epidemic Initiative.
